About Ruriko Co., Ltd.

The directors have had their own life experiences, and in the latter half of their lives, they founded a company based on the idea that human connections are a treasure. Born in Showa 33 (1958), the three of us will earnestly work on creating a place of mutual support and gratitude.

VISION

Vision of Ruriko Co., Ltd.

瑠璃子のビジョン

Reviving Japan's deteriorating social environment and fostering connections between people, we aim to create an environment where mutual compassion is valued. This was nurtured in the smallest society, the family. A society where people do not compare themselves with others. Accumulating small happinesses. A time when there was little material wealth but abundant vitality, a way of scolding with love, and invisible emotional richness. We aim to create a society where people realize that no one can live alone and can feel the warmth of others.

MANMARU

Our Concept of 'Manmaru'

Invisible Kindness
Gentle Kindness

KEISHOUWASO

Keisho Waso Narai

Our program values horizontal connections—where people learn, think, experience, and create together—rather than the traditional top-down, teacher-student structure often seen in kimono dressing classes.
As participants learn about Japan’s history, festivals, and regional customs, they naturally develop a sense of wonder and curiosity toward Japanese culture.
Feelings of embarrassment over not knowing something gradually transform into the joy of discovery and learning.
By thoughtfully passing on what we have received—both tangible items and heartfelt emotions—we deepen our own understanding.
We believe that true keisho (inheritance) lies in this heartfelt act of handing down what has been cherished.
Our goal is to see this spirit of mutual respect and harmony continue to grow and spread.

KONOHANA CLUB

In 2021, current director Ritsuko Kaneko held the first 'Konohana Kai' to promote Japanese cultural exchange and deepen the understanding of Japanese culture. Participation is by introduction only, all attendees wear traditional Japanese attire (men can wear suits), and there is no exchange of business cards. Those who understand the purpose of the meeting are welcome to join.

Currently, meetings are held in odd-numbered months at venues such as Meiji Memorial Hall and Mitsui Club.
