Shibamata still preserves its warm-hearted community and traditional street culture.

At Takagiya Roho, a long-established store well-known from the movie 'Tora-san,' the president personally taught us how to make grilled dango and traditional Japanese sweets.

We are grateful to Takagiya Roho for allowing us to use their space, where we, including about a dozen children, had a wonderful and lively time. We felt the deep-rooted spirit of this long-standing establishment and thoroughly enjoyed the streetscape that retains the atmosphere of the Showa era.
