August 26: Manmaru-san’s Wagokoro News – A Report

On Tuesday, August 26th, we had the pleasure of welcoming Yumi Tsuda, a manga artist who specializes in illustrating history and historical figures in an easy-to-understand way. She has authored an impressive 70 books.

She is also an expert on ancient Japanese texts like the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki. Reading her work, I was able to rediscover the joy of learning history through manga. I was completely captivated by Ms. Tsuda's bright smile and her non-stop storytelling.

Our host, Ms. Shimizu, became such a fan that after the broadcast ended, she immediately asked Ms. Tsuda to create a character for her.

Ms. Tsuda herself said, "I can't stop talking once I start!" and truly seemed to enjoy the broadcast time. We are so grateful for that. We believe our listeners could also feel her wonderful energy.
