Special Guest: Shinpei Ando

Our guest today, Mr. Shinpei Ando, spoke to us about the "Izakaya Koshien." This project was launched to help young people take pride in their work and to allow restaurant owners to revitalize the industry. He noted that this movement has inspired many other industries to hold their own "Koshien" style competitions. His mission to support and empower the youth resonates deeply with our own goals here at Manmaru-san.

We also delved into Mr. Ando’s own younger years. He shared a fascinating story about how he became completely captivated by the Wadaiko (Japanese drumming) of Eitetsu Hayashi. He immersed himself in the art, and it clearly became a vibrant and defining chapter of his youth.
