MESSAGE

Message from the President

I am Ruriko Sakuraba, the president. The three founders were all coincidentally born in Showa 33 (1958), the Year of the Dog. The commonality is that we have always prioritized helping those in need, even at our own expense, cherishing the connections we have made. Director Ritsuko Kaneko, who has lived abroad for many years, initiated the Japanese cultural exchange 'Konohana Kai' in Reiwa 3 (2021), held monthly, to increase opportunities to learn about Japanese culture and its merits. Director Michiichiro Ito runs a renowned dental implant clinic in Chiyoda-ku while serving as the president of the Rotary Club, continuing his long-term social contributions. I was born in Miyazaki City and grew up in a place deeply connected to the Kojiki. Rather than simply contributing financially, I aim to create a solid system that can be passed on to future generations, ensuring its sustainability. I will devote myself to this cause for as long as I live, without any retirement.

Establishment Background

Each director has had their own life experiences, and in the latter half of their lives, they established the company based on the belief that connections with people are treasures. The three founders, all born in Showa 33 (1958), are now dedicated to creating a community where everyone helps each other.

Reviving Japan's deteriorating social environment and fostering connections between people, we aim to create an environment where mutual compassion is valued. This was nurtured in the smallest society, the family. A society where people do not compare themselves with others. Accumulating small happinesses. A time when there was little material wealth but abundant vitality, a way of scolding with love, and invisible emotional richness. We aim to create a society where people realize that no one can live alone and can feel the warmth of others.

Sakuraba Ruriko

Born in Showa 33, Year of the Dog Born and raised in the land of myths, Miyazaki From a young age, involved in Japanese culture (local cuisine, traditional events, sewing, tea ceremony, flower arrangement, calligraphy, etc.) Participated in volunteer work since elementary school and helped at orphanages and nursing homes alone by junior high school. Enjoys composing tanka and haiku, and is interested in the beauty and depth of the Japanese language. For about 30 years, has been guiding people around the country with stories related to Kojiki knowledge. Wants to be an active storyteller conveying 'wagokoro' with a heart for Japanese culture until the moment life ends.

Director Kaneko Ritsuko

Born in Showa 33, Year of the Dog. Born in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture. Worked at a kindergarten in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture. Married a person with job transfers, resulting in many relocations. Developed an interest in overseas activities when transferred to Chigasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Joined overseas business in Heisei 29. Started 'Konohana-kai' in Reiwa 4. Changed the name to 'Konohana Club' from January of Reiwa 6, holding events only in odd months. Regional versions of 'Konohana Club' also began in June of Reiwa 6.

Director Michiichiro Ito

Doctor of Dental Surgery, Japanese Oral Surgery Specialist, Club 22 Member After graduating from Nagasaki University School of Dentistry, joined the First Department of Oral Surgery at the same university. Later, studied under Dr. Yataro Komiyama, a leading expert in implant treatment in Japan (Branemark Osseointegration Center). As an implant specialist, not only protecting people's dental health with the best technology and knowledge, but also actively helping people to live a healthy and authentic life.
